Landscape Pro 120 is a tough, hard wearing and long-lasting solution to preventing weeds from growing in your garden. It has strong tensile strength, meaning it can take the punishment of being used under heavy, sharp stones. Most weed mats are thin and do the job for a limited period of time, but Landscape Pro’s 120gsm fabric creates a better, stronger, more durable product that is highly permeable, meaning it allows water to seep through faster, so your soil won’t sour.
This premium grade, needle-punched Polypropylene fabric comes in two lengths – 1mx10m and 1mx20m- which makes it easier to calculate how much fabric you’ll need compared to most ‘3 foot wide’ products. And even though its thicker and more hard wearing, it’s still easy to work with and cut, making it ideal for larger, more commercially based projects as well as around your home.

Can I use Landscape Pro 120 under heavy rocks?
Yes. Landscape Pro’s higher tensile strength means it’s able to take the stresses and abrasions when used under heavy or sharp rocks. It’s ideal for using under gabion walls, or larger commercial projects.
Does the thicker fabric still let water through?
Absolutely. In fact, the fabric is even more permeable. The needle punch design allows greater water flow, meaning better drainage through your top layer, through the mat and into your soil, keeping tree roots healthier.
How easy is Landscape Pro 120 to work with?
Even though it’s thicker, the fabric is still very easy to cut. And by using Strol’s 130mm WeedMat pins, you can easily secure the fabric to the ground without fear of tearing.
What’s the difference between a thin and thicker weed mat?
Durability and longevity. Over time, thinner weed mat may rub, break and crumble apart. Rough stones or even birds may create holes in the mat, allowing weeds to grow through. With a thicker mat, you eliminate those risks, meaning your garden will stay weed-free for much longer.
