DuraGrid X is a high-strength biaxial geogrid designed to reinforce aggregate layers and improve ground stability. Positioned between the soil and aggregate, it locks the aggregate together to reduce lateral movement and create a stronger, longer-lasting foundation.
Ideal for driveways, pavements, working platforms and raft foundations, DuraGrid X helps reduce aggregate thickness while increasing the load-bearing performance of the finished surface. It can also be used as an anti-slip grid on steep steps, boardwalks and other smooth walking surfaces.

DuraGrid X is typically laid directly on the prepared subgrade before aggregate is placed and compacted over the top. Some applications may require multiple layers of geogrid and aggregate.
Yes. DuraGrid X is well suited to soft ground stabilisation. On saturated or very soft soils, it is recommended to install a non-woven geotextile such as SureTex beneath the geogrid to help separate the soil from the aggregate.
Yes. By reinforcing and stabilising the aggregate layer, DuraGrid X can help reduce the thickness of aggregate required while improving the performance and lifespan of the pavement.
Yes. In addition to ground reinforcement, DuraGrid X can be used as an anti-slip grid on steep steps, boardwalks and other smooth surfaces that may become slippery in damp conditions.
