SurePave is designed for straightforward installation using common tools and a properly prepared base. Most residential projects can be completed by confident DIYers, while larger or commercial installations can be completed by your contractor. Mark out the area, excavate to the required depth and prepare a stable, compacted sub-base suitable for your project.

Install the recommended base course and bedding layer, screeding it level to provide a smooth, even surface ready for the panels.

Clip the SurePave panels together across the prepared surface, working systematically to create a strong, interlocking paving system.

Fill the panels with your chosen grass or aggregate, level the surface and your project is ready to use. If using grass, allow time for establishment before regular vehicle use.

No. SurePave is designed to be installed over a properly prepared sub-base to ensure the panels perform as intended and allow surface water to drain naturally. Installing over an existing hard surface will prevent drainage and may affect the long-term performance of the system.

A well-prepared base is essential for a successful installation. The required excavation depth and sub-base will vary depending on your project and the expected traffic loads. Yes. SurePave is designed to reinforce natural grass while allowing it to grow through the panel. For the best results, fill the cells with quality topsoil and grass seed, water regularly during establishment, and avoid vehicle traffic until the grass is well established. Yes. SurePave can be installed on slopes up to 20% (1 in 5) when installed in accordance with our installation guidelines. If your project has a steeper gradient or unique site conditions, get in touch with our team and we'll help recommend the best solution.

SurePave is manufactured from durable recycled HDPE and is designed for long-term outdoor performance. It has a 20-year design life, giving you confidence that your paving system is built to perform for years to come when installed correctly.

SurePave panels are designed to be tough and easy to work with, but if a panel is accidentally damaged during installation it can simply be replaced without affecting the rest of the system. Individual panels can be unclipped and swapped out, making repairs quick and straightforward.
